Country Cabbage Recipe

Ingredients

Country Cabbage

(a Paula Deen recipe)

4 slices bacon

1 cabbage, chopped

salt and pepper to taste

*Tony’s (that’s my personal tweak)

2-tbspn butter

Directions

In a heavy Dutch Oven fry down the bacon remove to drain and add the chopped cabbage.

Let simmer for about one minute and then add 1 cup of water.

Salt and pepper to taste.

*(And I added my little personal touch.)

Cover and simmer until tender.

Before serving stir n the butter and sprinkle with the crunched up bacon peices.
