French Oven Beef Stew

- 2 lbs stew beef,cubed shopping list
- 2 medium onions,sliced thin shopping list
- 3 stalks celery,sliced shopping list
- 4 medium carrots,sliced shopping list
- 1c. tomato juice shopping list
- 1/3 c. tapioca shopping list
- 1Tbs. sugar shopping list
- 1Tbs. salt shopping list
- 1/4Tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1/2tsp. basil shopping list
- 2or 3 potatoes,cubed in medium pieces shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all but potatoes in a 21/2 Qt. casserole. Cover,bake at 325 for 31/2 hours. Put potatoes in for the last hour. Stir occasionally.
