How to make it

  • Saute ground beef with onion and garlic. Set aside.
  • Remove seeds and flatten chiles.
  • Layer in a 9x13-inch casserole dish: chiles, cheese,
  • cooked ground beef mixture,and olives.
  • Top with a layer of Jack cheese.
  • Separate 4 large eggs.
  • Beat egg whites until stiff.
  • Beat egg yolks and add milk, flour, salt and pepper.
  • Fold egg yolk mixture into stiff egg whites.
  • Pour over chilies, cheese, ground beef.
  • Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees F.
  • Remove from oven for a minute.
  • Mix together tomato sauce and chili salsa.
  • Pour over top and bake ¼ hour longer

    I wish I didn't shy away from cooking anything that sounds Mexican because I just love the food! This recipe is a MUST TRY for me and I can't wait =D

    Chile rellenos are my favorite Mexican food! Sometimes I make them with ortega green chiles and sometimes with poblano chiles....anyway they're fixed, I like them best with a think breading 'cause I like to taste the flavor of the chile!
