My grandbabies, love creamed mashed potatoes, so this is a favorite!

Ingredients
  • 3 lbs. potatoes
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon mayo
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 taspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder ( you do not have to use this)
  • 2 ozs. milk
  • water

Directions
  1. Peel potatoes
  2. cut into thin slices
  3. wash potatoes
  4. put in a double boiler with enough water to cover
  5. cook until done
  6. drain out left over water
  7. add butter, mayo, salt, pepper and garlic
  8. mix together with a electric mixer
  9. add milk to the mixture to creamed the potaoes
  10. you can add more milk if you want it thinner
