Huray for chocolate!

Ok, this recipe is a SIN! i just made it and it is DAAAAHALISH! i love it! YUMMMMMMM!
* only comment: my crockpot seem to have cooked it longer, the cake started to pull away from the sides at 5 hrs. so i turned it off and let it cool, it was still DELISHHHH! this is evil...MINE! MINE! MINE!

CORRECTION! i ment the crock cooked it faster, it didn't take as long as you said on low. still no harm, i love it.

I must be drunk :-O! spell check >>> meant...dear god (your fault!)

Imagine how good this would be with bananas layered on the bottom!

This sounds so weird, I have GOT to try it out. Crock pot cake...who'da thunk it. I dunno about the bananas though (mentioned above), seems like they would turn to goo.

OK. Cake is in the Crock --- with bananas layered on the bottom. Talk to you in a few hours.

My first concern is how to store the finished product. Scooping it out of the crockpot and onto a cake platter won't win any presentation awards. I'll need my crock for another purpose. Please don't anybody suggest "just eat the whole thing".

Cake is very moist. 'naners were good tasting goo. Still have most of the pot left. Anybody want to help me finish this cake. I need my crock back.

Very good question. How do you get it out and serve it? Let us know what you came up with.

I haven't made this yet, but I can't wait! For everyone trying to figure out how to get it out: I saw on another recipe similar to this that you can hold a serving platter over the top and flip to remove the cake...again though..haven't tried it yet. I'll try it soon and let everyone know.

Also...great idea with the bananas but I think I will slice them on top while I have it open to test for doneness so that they aren't mushy. Mayeb add some caramel or chocolate sauce on that too...yumm! Now I want cake!

What size pot are y'all using? mine is BIG and I wonder if it is too big...
size might have played a role in the cooking time differential noted above, too.
