Utlimate Chocolate Trifle

When only chocolate will do.. and so pretty too! You can go all out and make everything from scatch or buy everything premade or boxed. It's up to you!
Ingredients
- 1 8x8 pan full of your favorite brownies shopping list
- 1 recipe chocolate Mousse (I used Epicurious's recipe found here) shopping list
- 1 pint whipping cream shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk chocolate curls shopping list
How to make it
- Make mouse and chill in the refrigerator for a few hours.
- Make your brownies and cool.
- Prepare whipped cream by whipping the cream on high for several minutes just until it starts to get thick (you want it a little runny). Add vanilla and powdered sugar until well combined.
- Assembly:
- Note: Use any large glass bowl - I used a punch bowl. Depending on the size and height of your bowl, shoot for at least two or more layers so be sure to measure out your layers appropriately.
- Break up brownies into bit sized pieces (about 1/2" x 1/2") and put on the bottom of a glass bowl. Top with a layer of mousse, then whipped cream. If your mousse or whipped cream is too thick, thin out with cream. Repeat layers until you're left with a top layer of whipped cream.
- Let it chill for at leat 4 hours - the longer the better. Garnish with chocolate curls.
