    Hi Chef! Thanks for the comments.You're right-I really do not like ketchup...the bottled stuff is always to sweet (yikes).But your recipe sounds delicious and I will definitely give it a try! Thanks for the great recipe :-)

    Unless you have a garden full of tomatoes it seems it's much cheaper to buy a can of organic tomato paste then to make your own. I don't grow large tomatoes, only patio style. But if your interested here is a link to a very easy recipe on how to make tomato paste.
