All home made mixes should be stored tightly covered in a cool, dry place. I have found that small glass jars with screw-on lids work best. Most mixes will stay fresher longer if stored in the refrigerator. Be sure to label each mix with its name and use. Ingredients
- 4 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. garlic powder shopping list
- 2 tsp. pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp. white pepper shopping list
- 2 tsp. onion powder shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried thyme leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried marjoram leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp. dried oregano leaves shopping list
- 1 tsp. cayenne pepper shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper flakes shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients and store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place. Stir into mayonnaise, yogurt or sour cream for a vegetable dip, or sprinkle over oven fries. You can also use this in soups and stews.
