Pasta With Brussel Sprouts Recipe

Ingredients

6 cup water

1/2 teaspoon salt

10 0z pack frozen brussel sprouts

1 cup uncooked spiral pasta

1/4 cup butter melted

2 tablespoons whipping cream

2 tablespoons grated onion

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Directions

In large saucepan: bring water and salt to a boil

Add brussel sprouts and pasta

Return to a boil: then reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 6- 8 minutes or until pasta and brussel sprouts are tender

Drain

Combine the remaining ingredients: pour over pasta mixture and toss to coat

ENJOY!!!!

Sounds great and I have done something very similar and it is comforting, hearty and delicious. I love Brussels Sprouts and pasta and I always add a heavy grating of Parmesan to get that Alfredo feel. Great post - thanks so much!

We had this for dinner tonight. I fry up my brussel sprouts with garlic and red onions after I boil them, so I did them separate from the pasta, then I added everything together at the end. Yum! Also, my husband mixed in his chorizo sausage (mine was on the side). He said that he like the contrast of tastes.
