How to make it
- Place carrots in a saucepan then add enough water to barely cover them.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat, cover and simmer until tender.
- Melt butter in a saucepan then stir in lemon juice and maple syrup.
- Simmer for 3 minutes then add carrots and simmer 3 minutes more.
- Add salt and pepper just before serving.
