How to make it

  • Cook okra in boiling, salted water for 10 minutes.
  • Drain.
  • Saute onion and green pepper in oil; add tomatoes and cook slowly 5 minutes.
  • Add okra and remaining ingredients; cook over low heat until vegetables are just tender, sitrring as little as possible.

    i recently discovered that okra is so delicious. i usually have steamed ones 3-4/week. this would be a good and different way to prepare okra. thanks for sharing.
