Ingredients

1 lb. crab meat (jumbo lump blue crab, or backfin)

1 tbs. parsley

1 tbs. old bay

1 tsp. baking powder

2 tsp. yellow mustard

4-5 tbs. mayonnaise

1 jumbo egg

8-10 saltine crackers

Directions

I estimated all measurements so play around a little

Combing crab, parsley, old bay, baking powder, mustard, and mayo

Mixture should be a little loose and wet

Add egg

Crush crackers and add them until mixture feels somewhat dry

Form 8 patties

Broil until golden brown or fry in vegetable oil

Serve with tartar sauce

I'm a transplanted Marylander....this is the only way to make a crab cake. After you patty them put 'em in the Fridge to firm up so they won't break apart while frying!
