Thai Bananas Recipe

How to make it

  • In a mixing bowl beat together egg, sugar and flour
  • Peel banana, cut in half and slice halves lengthwise
  • Dip banana slices into egg mixture, then roll in coconut
  • Melt butter in heavy pan
  • Cook bananas for 10 minutes, turning when brown
  • Serve hot with lime quarters

    Question, from an inexperienced cook...when you say "cook them for 10 minutes" Stove top? pan with oil? butter? Thanks

    Something different..check out my Thai Fried Bananas and Banana Rolls. I think bananas are great in every recipes.

    It's really good! Some of my friends like to have them with vanilla ice cream. I like it with pineapple sauce. Gives you a pina colada flavor.
