Willard Scotts Hot Fudge Cake

- 1 cup all purpose flour shopping list
- 3/4 cup of sugar shopping list
- 2 tbsp cocoa shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp of salt shopping list
- 1/2 cup milk shopping list
- 2 tbsp of butter, melted shopping list
- 1 cup chopped walnuts shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup of cocoa shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups of hot top water shopping list
How to make it
- Grease 9 inch square baking dish or pan.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Into large bowl, sift together flour, sugar, 2 tbsp. cocoa, baking powder and salt.
- Stir in milk and melted butter.
- Blend in walnuts.
- Spread in greased dish.
- Sprinkle brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa over batter in the dish.
- Pour hot water over entire batter.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until the batter is set and sauce bubbles.
- Let cool before slicing.
- (It makes its own chocolate sauce)
- Enjoy with ice cream or whipped cream.
- Serves 6 normal people, or my family of three.

Ohhhhhhhhh this looks sooooooooooo good. I can taste it right now as I type. Just a thought, you could make individual ramekins with this mixture. Either way I'm sure to be making it. Thank you.

Notcho!! How are you? I'm so glad I could get some time on here tonight - and I found this delish recipe...I remember these "makes its own sauce" cakes from "a zillion days ago" - WONDERFUL, especially warm from the oven!! I'm starving just looking...more
