Ingredients
  • 1 Egg Yolk
  • 1/4 Cup Fresh Lemon Juice
  • 1 Tsp Salt
  • 10 Cloves Garlic crushed
  • 1/2 Cup Olive Oil
  • 1 Cup Mashed Potatoes

Directions
  1. Put Egg Yoke, Lemon juice, Salt, and Garlic in a blender. Puree 30 Seconds
  2. Turn blender back on again and pour Olive Oil in a thin stream until it is used up. The mixture will form an emulsion
  3. Gradually add mashed potato and blend until smooth.
  4. The end result should be like a thick heavy mayo but with more texture.

Nice garlic Sauce it is nice and creamy from the mashed potatoes the lemon enhances it well.

This was great with super flavors. I'm going to be honest I used instant mashed potatoes (I keep them in the house for when my hubby cooks) and used them because I had forgotten to buy any potatoes. It was still great! I used it to dip my bread in too. I don't think my hubby will be kissing me any time soon. LOL


I made this sauce tonight to go with your Lebanese Chicken - oh MY goodness. The whole meal rocked....and I doubled this Garlic Sauce recipe because....I could....and...because I love a good garlic sauce (and this recipe is stellar)...and because I wanted to use this throughout the week. Adding a pic from my Razr. It's not the greatest, but kind of shows the wonderful texture of this sauce. Make it peeps - this is the best!
