Bangers And Mash Recipe

Ingredients

4 large pork sausages

4 large potatoes, mashed

1 large red onion, sliced

Onion gravy mix (you can use a packet mix or make your own after frying the sausagea and onions)

Dash Worcestershire sauce

Directions

Boil and mash the potatoes and set aside. Keep warm.

In a large frying pan fry the sausages, turning frequently to brown all sides (if you are watching your fat intake you can grill the sausages).

Drain on paper towels and keep warm.

After frying the sausages, fry the onion slices in the same pan, frying until the onion is soft and barely brown.

Remove the onions and drain on a paper towel.

To make the gravy add the packet mix to the frying pan and add water according to packet directions.

To make gravy from the drippings, mix 1Tbsp of cornstarch to one cup of hot water, blending until smooth. Reduce heat and pour into the pan, stirring constantly..

Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and stir until mixed.

Serve sausages, onions and potatoes all on one plate, smothered with onion gravy.
