Bangers And Mash

- 4 large pork sausages shopping list
- 4 large potatoes, mashed shopping list
- 1 large red onion, sliced shopping list
- Onion gravy mix (you can use a packet mix or make your own after frying the sausagea and onions) shopping list
- Dash worcestershire sauce shopping list
How to make it
- Boil and mash the potatoes and set aside. Keep warm.
- In a large frying pan fry the sausages, turning frequently to brown all sides (if you are watching your fat intake you can grill the sausages).
- Drain on paper towels and keep warm.
- After frying the sausages, fry the onion slices in the same pan, frying until the onion is soft and barely brown.
- Remove the onions and drain on a paper towel.
- To make the gravy add the packet mix to the frying pan and add water according to packet directions.
- To make gravy from the drippings, mix 1Tbsp of cornstarch to one cup of hot water, blending until smooth. Reduce heat and pour into the pan, stirring constantly..
- Add a dash of Worcestershire sauce and stir until mixed.
- Serve sausages, onions and potatoes all on one plate, smothered with onion gravy.
