Homemade 5-Spice Powder

This comes from Daryl W.T. Lau, in Malaysia.
Ingredients
- 4 tbsp Szechuan peppers (or you can substitute other peppercorns) shopping list
- 4 tbsp whole cloves shopping list
- 4 tbsp Broken cinnamon sticks shopping list
- 4 tbsp fennel seed shopping list
- 12 whole star anise shopping list
How to make it
- Grind each ingredient separately in a spice mill or mortar.
- Combine and mix well.
- Store in an airtight container in a cool, dark place.
