Easy delicious coffee cake with a pecan struesel topping.

Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups sifted all purpose flour
- 3 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup soft butter
- 1 egg
- 1 cup milk
- ***********************************************
- TOPPING
- ***********************************************
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 2 tablespoons soft butter
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Sift first 4 ingredients together
- Add butter, egg and milk
- Beat well, about 2 minutes
- Pour into greased & floured 9inch square pan
- Blend topping ingredients and sprinkle over cake mixture
- Bake for 30 - 45 minutes or when cake tests done

Thanks, sounds like a coffee cake my mom used to make and since she passed I haven't been able to find it. I don't have pecans but I think I'll try it with walnuts. Thanks and God Bless....
