Radish Tea or beer Sandwiches
From frankieanne 16 years agoIngredients
- Thinly sliced radishes (I used two large ones for one sandwich) shopping list
- 8 slices best quality white bread (I used homemade sourdough) shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsalted, room temperature butter shopping list
How to make it
- Spread one side of each piece of bread lightly with butter.
- Top the buttered side of four slices of bread with the sliced radishes. Top with remaining bread slices, buttered side down.
- Cut the crusts from each sandwich with a sharp knife (feed crusts to birds). Cut the sandwiches in half diagonally and then cut in half again. (Yield: four whole sandwiches, eight halves or 16 fourths)

Every spring my father starts his garden with Radishes. So many they dry up before I get to them. Now I know what to do with them. Plenty of beer in the spring too. This is a great idea! 5 here!
