Not Ordinary Stuffed Jalapenos Recipe

Ingredients

15 fresh jalapenos

1 8 ounce package cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon chopped black olives

2 tablespoons toasted chopped pecans

1 tablespoon minced green onions

15 slices hickory smoked bacon, cut in half

Directions

Cut jalapenos in half lengthwise, leaving the stems intact*

Remove seeds and veins

Rinse halves, drain on paper towels

In bowl, mix softened cream cheese and all ingredients except bacon

Spoon cream cheese mixture in pepper halves, mounding slightly

Wrap bacon piece around each, overlapping on *top*

Secure bacon with toothpick

Place on a sprayed foil-lined baking sheet

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until bacon is crisp

May also grill

*USE GLOVES WHEN PREPARING THE PEPPERS
