This marinade can be used for shrimp, scallops, beef, pork or chicken...Got it from the back of a bag of Jack Daniels wood chips...

Ingredients
  • 1/4 cup Jack Daniel's
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar, packed
  • 1 tsp salt
  • Worcestershire sauce, a dash
  • Pepper, to taste

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients. Mix well.
  2. For shrimp or scallop, marinate 1 hour
  3. For everything else, the longer, the better
  4. Makes about 1 1/4 cups.

You know I'm all over this one!! Sounds like what I need for my chicken on Sat, when we grill and hang on the deck after planting flowers and doing yardwork all day.


I just love marinading with Jack. We have tried the sauces, but using actual Jack is the best! GREAT post!
