hawaiian meat loaf with a peanut glaze

- 2 pounds of lean ground beef shopping list
- 1 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 ( 8 ounce) can of crushed pineapple, drained shopping list
- 1/2 cup bell pepper chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup onion chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup celery chopped shopping list
- 2 large eggs, beaten shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1-tablespoon finely minced fresh ginger shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
- for sauce********************* shopping list
- 1/2 cup orange juice shopping list
- 1/2 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced fresh ginger shopping list
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
- combine the first 12 ingredients in a large bowl and gently mix until well blended.place in to a loaf pan and bake about 50 minutes or until no longer pink in center .
- meanwhile ;combine all other remaining ingredients in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring constantly.
- lower the heat and continue to cook until thickened into a glaze...
- pour about 1/2 cup of the glaze over the top of the meatloaf 5 minutes before the end of the meat loaf time.
- serve with remaining warm peanut glaze on the side..................
- serves 8.........
