CROCK POT PEPSI ROAST Recipe

How to make it

  • Place roast in crock pot and top with the dry onion soup mix.
  • Mix together the cream of mushroom soup and the Pepsi and pour over roast.
  • Cover and cook on low heat 8 - 10 hours, or high heat 5 hours.

    Sept 16/16 This is a fantastic recipe and quick to pull together. The only note is that the recipe does not note what to do with the roast once it is cooked. Do you slice or shred. Since I was serving over noodles decided to shred. Next time may just slice and add mushrooms and onions at the start was well. When I told DH about the recipe he said "sugar and soup mixed together odd combo" but when I asked what he thought he said "Very good could not taste the pepsi and it added a nice dimension to the food".

    I have cooked this several times, and my family loves it. I mash tators, put a piece of bread on bottom, tators, and some of this roast beef with gravy....MMM! Cant do better than this one!

    This is very interesting.....I'm trying to imagine the taste.
    I have to admit to making an awesome batch of applesauce in a Crock Pot by adding about a half a can of Mountain Dew to the apples (and nothing else). It was great. The apples didn't turn brown either!

    Unfortunatly my hubby HATES pot roast and it's one of my faves. However I always make lots and turn it into beef stroganoff the next day which he loves! I'll give this a try maybe since there is soda in it he'll like the roast better!

    This works better with good ole' Coke because it has a really high sugar content.
