Grilled Peaches with Honey Blue Cheese

- # fresh peaches, 1 per person shopping list
- # butter, 2 tablespoons shopping list
- # brown sugar, 2 tablespoons shopping list
- # cognac, about 2-3 tablespoons shopping list
- # blue cheese, small sliver, about 2 inches long, ¼ inch cube shopping list
- # Warm honey, drizzled shopping list
How to make it
- First off, stop your complaining about this being an odd combination. Where’s your sense of adventure? :)
- Ok, slice each peach into about 6 pieces and grill about 2 minutes a side.
- In a saucepan or fry pan, melt the butter and sugar, then splash in the cognac. Keep on heat until it’s nice and syrupy.
- Now, put a nice layer or the sauce on a small plate, then place the grilled peach slices on top. Then, put the slice of blue cheese in the center and drizzle the whole darn thing with warm honey. Try it, you’ll like it……Enjoy!
