Ingredients

  • I was watching Alton Brown two nights ago doing chicken wings and I thought I would share his tip for baking chicken wings without the splatter and smoke. He says to steam your wings on vegetable steamers for about 10 minutes before putting them in the oven. As the steaming draws alot of the fat out of the wings, you have no smoke or splatter when you bake! And I guess you have that many less calories too! shopping list
  • This doesn't deter the wings from getting crispy in the oven; in fact, it makes them crispier (which was part of Alton's endeavour on the show)! shopping list
