When I made clam chowder years ago I found by using precooked(boiled in skins)potatoes and peeled once they were cooled off or even better cold my clam chowder never had mushy potatoes, they always stayed firm. The recipe sounds great. I am checking on more of your recipe. I like what I read from you!

And there's a wonderful clam chowder that would pair great with your flatbread! You are making me so hungry, GF - and I adore clam chowder. I see my weekend menu coming into plave even as I type.

    How are you?
