How to make it

  • Pour cherry pie filling into a 13x9" cake pan. Add pineapple, spread over cherries. Sprinkle dry cake mix on top of this. Melt butter, pour evenly over cake mix. Sprinkle with coconut, sprinkle with pecans.
  • Bake at 325F for 1 hour.

    Like the addition of the coconut.Whenever I do the cherry dump cake with pineapple I use two cans of pie filling.Sounds great.
