Ingredients

How to make it

  • Bread Pudding
  • Preheat oven to 325
  • With hand mixer, beat eggs
  • Add butter, vanilla and milk
  • Gradually add sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved
  • Put bread cubes in bottom of a 9-inch baking dish
  • Pour egg mixture over bread, making sure bread is fully saturated Sprinkle pecans over top and push them down into bread
  • Bake 50-55 minutes
  • Whiskey Sauce
  • Put all ingredients in saucepan
  • Stir over low heat until mixture reaches a low, rolling boil
  • Keep warm
  • Pour sauce over bread pudding when plated

    I've been looking for this recipe. It is the Bread Pudding recipe
    - from Tom Perini's Texas Cowboy Cooking Cookbook. I've had it at Perini's restaurant in Buffalo Gap, TX. It's to die for!
