Bread Pudding With Whiskey Sauce

- bread Pudding shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2 tbls. butter, melted shopping list
- 2 tbls. vanilla shopping list
- 2 1/2 cups milk shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2 cups sourdough bread, cut into 1" cubes shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans, chopped shopping list
- whiskey Sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 stick butter shopping list
- 1/2 cup cream shopping list
- 1/4 cup Jack Daniels shopping list
How to make it
- Bread Pudding
- Preheat oven to 325
- With hand mixer, beat eggs
- Add butter, vanilla and milk
- Gradually add sugar and mix until sugar is dissolved
- Put bread cubes in bottom of a 9-inch baking dish
- Pour egg mixture over bread, making sure bread is fully saturated Sprinkle pecans over top and push them down into bread
- Bake 50-55 minutes
- Whiskey Sauce
- Put all ingredients in saucepan
- Stir over low heat until mixture reaches a low, rolling boil
- Keep warm
- Pour sauce over bread pudding when plated
