Chocolate Toffee Truffle

- 1 chocolate sheet cake mix shopping list
- 1 cup applesauce shopping list
- 3/4 carton eggbeaters(egg substitute) shopping list
- 2 large boxes sugar free chocolate pudding mix shopping list
- milk shopping list
- 16-oz carton lite cool-whip shopping list
- 6-oz package Heath Sensations bits-o-brickle shopping list
- 1/2 cup pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Make chocolate sheet cake from mix
- Substitute applesauce for oil in mix
- Substitute Egg Beaters for eggs in mix, if you want a cake that is lighter in calories and cholesterol(You'll never miss them!!)
- Bake cake as directed on package
- Cool and cut into bite size pieces. Freeze remaining cake for another time
- Make chocolate pudding mix, except use amount of milk called for on package plus one additional cup.
- In a truffle bowl or any tall clear bowl, layer cake, pudding and Cool Whip, Heath Bits-O-Brickle, and nuts.
- Refrigerate
- Serves 12-15, unless you want the whole thing to yourself!! haha
- This can be made a day ahead. It tastes very sinful, but it is lower in calories and cholesterol than the other way! Mmmmmmm!
