Balsalmic Thyme Grilled Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

1 pound deveined peeled medium shrimp (about 40 per pound)

1/2 olive oil

1/4 cup balsamic vinegar

3 cloves garlic, chopped

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

1 tsp dried thyme or 1 tablespoon fresh

8 wooden skewers soaked in water

Directions

Place all ingredients in zip top bag and marinate 30 to 60 minutes.

Skewer 5 shrimp per skewer

Grill over high heat 2 to 3 minutes per side until shrimp have turned a pretty color of pink.

Serve hot

For an appetizer serve one skewer per person, for a main course 2 skewers.
