How to make it

  • Pierce chicken with a fork. Grind the onion, garlic and ginger together in food processor. Add seasonings and mix thoroughly. Beat the yogurt in a bowl until smooth; blend in the spice paste and lemon juice. Rub the mixture into the chicken and marinate in a resealable plastic bag (with all the air squeezed out) in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  • For basting sauce: combine melted butter and the rest of the ingredients & set aside.
  • Cook over low heat on grill for approximately 90 minutes or until juices run clear basting with the sauce frequently towards the end.
