Tandoori Chicken Recipe
This is a perfect chicken dish for the grill when you're tired of the same old chicken. Wonderful spices, yet smooth. The yogurt tenderizes the chicken so its melt-in-your mouth yummy. From a Weber Grill cookbook.

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds chicken breast, no skin, no bone, R-T-C
  • 1 onion, small
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • ginger root, 1/2" piece, peeled and chopped
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon coriander
  • 1/2 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup yogurt, plain
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon numeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon corriander
  • lemon juice

Directions
  1. Pierce chicken with a fork. Grind the onion, garlic and ginger together in food processor. Add seasonings and mix thoroughly. Beat the yogurt in a bowl until smooth; blend in the spice paste and lemon juice. Rub the mixture into the chicken and marinate in a resealable plastic bag (with all the air squeezed out) in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours.
  2. For basting sauce: combine melted butter and the rest of the ingredients & set aside.
  3. Cook over low heat on grill for approximately 90 minutes or until juices run clear basting with the sauce frequently towards the end.
