Rhubarb Strawberry Cobbler

- For rhubarb Sauce shopping list
- 3 cups rhubarb shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list

- For cobbler shopping list
- 1 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 cup self rising flour shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder shopping list
- 2 cups strawberries sliced shopping list
- rhubarb sauce shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
How to make it
- For the sauce: combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat until rhubarb is tender. You want some liquid in it (It may take a little over a cup of water).

- For cobbler: Melt butter in 9 x 13 inch pan.
- Mix the sugar, flour, baking powder together; then add the milk.
- Add the flour sugar mixture to the butter in pan (after butter melts).
- Add the rhubarb sauce (do not stir)
- Add the strawberry slices scattered on top.
- Bake in 350 degree oven about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- This is good with vanilla ice cream or you can eat it without.

- Note: You will have a better crust if you use the self rising flour plus the 1/2 teaspoon baking powder.
