Grandmas Macaroni Salad

When my Grandma Drummond made this salad I was a happy girl!
Ingredients
- 2 cups cooked macaroni (cook acording package directions & cool) shopping list
- 1 can red salmon or tuna (I like the hickory smoked tuna in this too) shopping list
- 1 bunch of celery, cut up shopping list
- 1 lg cucumber, diced shopping list
- 2 Tbs minced onion shopping list
- 2 plum tomatoes diced shopping list
- salt and pepper to taste shopping list
- salad dressing - like Miracle Whip - until it looks good... (I use Mayo most ot the time) shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients and refrigerate until ready to serve.

this is much like the maccaroni salad i grew up with too. my mother LOVED miracle whip.. as an adult i can't fathom why she liked it so much.. i would substitute mayo for the miracle whip as a matter of principle, but it is a nostalgic recipe. no har...more
