Ingredients

How to make it

  • Wash squash, peel if needed, slice in rounds, not too thick
  • Salt and pepper squash
  • Pour buttermilk in bowl
  • Whisk dry ingredients in another bowl
  • Dip each round of squash in buttermilk, THEN
  • Coat in breading mix
  • Drop gently in hot oil and brown until golden
  • Remove from pan, drain on paper towel
  • Oh, so good!

    Oh man I love these, especially dipped in ranch dressing. I always burn my mouth though since I can't wait for them to cool!
