Ingredients

How to make it

  • Sift together flour sugar baking powder and salt in a bowl
  • cut in the butter until it resembles pea-sized crumbs
  • in a smaller bowl beat together the egg and vanilla until smooth
  • mix egg mixture with flour/butter mixture
  • stir in the melted ice cream
  • Mix together until dough forms
  • form a ball and pat down on lightly floured surface making a thick, even circle
  • cut the circle into 12 wedges then shape each wedge into a neat triangle
  • bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for about 10-12 minutes or until top is light brown and inside is done( I baked in a toaster oven since these are so cute and tiny)
  • cool on a baking rack
  • stir together confecioners sugar and the extra Vanilla Ice Cream a little at a time until it becomes a thick glaze. YOU MAY USE MORE OR LESS AS NEEDED UNTIL DESIRED CONISTENCY
  • spoon glaze over cooled scones
  • repeat last step a few times until scones are glazed nice and thick
