Pecan Coffee Cake

- 1 3/4 cups all- purpose flour shopping list
- 2 pkgs. rapid rise yeast shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- 3/4 cup very warm water shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter shopping list
- cinnamon sugar Topping: shopping list
- 1/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- caramel pecan Topping: shopping list
- 1/3 cup light or dark corn syrup shopping list
- 1/3 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. melted butter shopping list
- 1/2 cups pecans shopping list
How to make it
- Mix batter ingredients in a greased deep dish pie plate.
- Stir together corn syrup,brown sugar, and butter in a small bowl, add pecans and mix well.
- Combine sugar , cinnamon topping ingredients together in sm. bowl.
- Top batter with cinn/sugar topping; then spoon caramel/pecan topping evenly over the batter.
- Bake by placing in a COLD oven; set temp. to 350. Bake 25 mins., until lightly browned and firm in center. Cool slightly and serve warm.
