  • BLEND BY HAND OR USE THE LOWEST SPEED ON MIXER: ONE QUART OF WHOLE EGG MAYONNAISE* AND 1 CUP OF KETCHUP. ADD THE REST OF THE INGREDIENTS AND BLEND JUST ENOUGH TO MIX.
  • IF YOU DO NOT DO MAYONNAISE, SEE NOTE IN DESCRIPTION

    I'm bookmarking this...I think the cheapy little hamburgers that McDonald's makes used to have Thousand Island dressing. When we ordered a Chef's Salad it always came with this dressing, remember?

    I'm giving you a five on the condition that you won't tell anyone that I have a weakness for thousand Island;-)

    If I'm in a restaurant, and having a burger and fries -- you can bet that I'm going to ask for a LARGE side of thousand Island! At home when I make oven fries, I often make a dipping sauce similar for thousand Island -- I love to have fries with my sauce!

    I must agree with you (in secret, of course) that this truly does look like a great recipe! You had better have this in your pub!
