Thanks to you and your sister!

Mmm...thanks this is yummy!

Ahhh..Strawberry Shortcake...it's one of the best summertime treats!! Thanks!!

I love your shortcake too! I have a recipe I make sometime that was my husband's grandmother's that's a lot like this, but it's made as one big shortcake, rather than individual ones. I just separate the dough into 2 pieces instead of 14. I love it, and I know this one is great too!

Please tell your sister thank you for the recipe and thank you for taking the time to type it all out for us! What a great summertime dessert!!!

Sounds wonderful! Thanks to you and your sister for the fabulous idea!

I make homemade strawberry shortcake every 4th of July. We take it in a cooler to where we watch fireworks. This has been a tradition with my family that I started over 20 years ago.My family really looks forward to it. Thank-you for this post. And just in time for my "shortcake baking".

Fantastic...:)

Thank you!

I LOVE Strawberry Shortcake, and Huckleberry Pie, and Orange Blossom, and Lemon Meringue, and Ginger Snap, and Custard, and,.....Oh, yea, I love the edible stuff too. I can still get fresh strawberries, so I'm going to make it this weekend...maybe I'll share.

Strawberry shortcake IS summer. Great post!
