Easy Chocolate Dipped Coconut Creams

- 1 ( 14-ounce ) can sweetened condensed milk shopping list
- 1/4 cup butter, melted shopping list
- 1 TBSP. lemon juice shopping list
- 8 cups sifted powdered sugar shopping list
- 1 ( 7-ounce ) can flaked coconut shopping list
- 1/2 cup toasted almonds, finely chopped shopping list
- 16 ounces chocolate-flavored candy coating shopping list
How to make it
- combine the condensed milk, butter, and the lemon juice...stir well
- gradually stir in the powdered sugar.. mix well
- add coconut and the almonds... mix well
- shape into 3/4-inch balls.
- cover and freeze 4 hours or until firm
- put candy coating in top of a double boiler... bring water to a boil
- reduce heat to low.. cook until the coating melts
- remove from the heat but leave the coating over the water
- using 2 forks dip frozen candy balls in melted coating
- allow the excess to drip off
- cool on wax paper
- store in the refrigerator

- to make a nice presentation but the candies in paper candy cups
- yields 8 dozen
