Wild Rice Casserole

My mother served this with beef tenderloin. It's really good, although it might sound kind of strange. The flavors mingle well.
Ingredients
- 1 C cubed cheese--your choice. I use sharp cheddar shopping list
- 1 14.5 ounce can chopped tomatoes with juice shopping list
- 1/2 C chopped onion shopping list
- 1/4 t pepper shopping list
- 1 1/2 t salt shopping list
- 1 C sliced black olives shopping list
- 1 small jar mushrooms, drained shopping list
- 1 C wild rice shopping list
- cook wild rice according to package directions. Mix all ingredients in a large casserole dish and pop in the oven at 350 until other ingredients are heated through. It sounds weird, but it's really tasty. shopping list

It doesn't sound strange to me at all, it sounds fabulous. Yummers, love a good rice casserole. Great post. You have my 5 and this is going on the dinner table Sunday with some grilled pork chops and a nice salad. Thanks for posting.

I know Cheese+Rice=GOOD. Then adding Tomatoes, Olives and Mushrooms...YUMMY. :)
