Ingredients
  • 3 slices of Butter Bread(Nature's own), Sourdough or Potato Bread
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter(salted)(more if needed)
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
  • dash salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh chopped parsley
  • 2 slices deli baked ham(any variety)
  • 2 slices deli smoked turkey(any variety)
  • 2 slices deli roasted chicken breast(any variety)
  • 2 slices deli roast beef(any variety)
  • 1 slice apple smoked bacon, cooked crisp
  • 1 slice apple smoked cheddar cheese or smoked cheddar
  • 1 slice any other deli cheese such as provolone, pepperjack, etc.
  • mayo
  • a dash of minced chives(optional)

Directions
  1. In frying pan, heat butter and olive oil.
  2. Add garlic,salt ,parsley and Italian seasoning and cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
  3. Brush each of the bread slices on each side with garlic butter mixture.
  4. Brown bread(add more butter or oil if needed)lightly.
  5. Assemble sandwich by spreading a little mayo on top and bottom slices of sandwich.
  6. Dress as desired by adding lettuce, tomato, etc.
  7. Place combination of two of the meats on bread.
  8. Top with one of the cheeses.
  9. Add middle bread slice.
  10. Spread with a little mayo.
  11. Add remaining meats, bacon, and cheese.
  12. Top with remaining slice of bread.
  13. Cut into fourths and serve with your favorite chips, pickles or side.
  14. Adjust recipe to include favorite meats and cheeses!
  15. I usually hold sandwich together with a decorative toothpick with a green olive on top!

This sounds awesome! Unfortunately I have a wheat allergy - I will have to play around with wheat free breads - most fall apart! The filling sounds so good I just might make lettuce roll ups!

Love this method, deb...great flavors = great taste! That's gotta be a winning sandwich...will try soon.


This sandwich is one of those to die fore three decker's, that turns the heads of surrounding restaurant guest, all you can hear is ah and oh so good I should have ordered that.
Start your restaurant and I will be the firs to order this sandwich.
