Lime Sherbet Citrus Floats Recipe

Lime Sherbet Citrus Floats Recipe
It's gotten very hot here and "the dog days of summer" are setting in on us. This is a nice little chilled drink for those hot days - good for sipping on as you work around the house or relax out on the patio or sit by the pool!

Ingredients
  • 2 liters any lemon-lime soda, well chilled
  • ¾ cup frozen limeade concentrate
  • ½ cup orange juice
  • 1 pint lime sherbet

Directions
  1. Mix soda, limeade concentrate and orange juice in a large pitcher; stir to blend.
  2. Pour into serving glasses and top each glass with a scoop or two of sherbet.
  3. Gently stir just a bit to let some of the sherbet mix into the drink.
  4. Serve with a spoon so the drink can continue to be stirred occasionally and the sherbet mixed in.
  5. NOTE: For an “adult” version, you can always add a shot of vodka to the glass before adding the sherbet!
