Honey Hush Pie Recipe

How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Mix sugar, eggs, margarine or butter, and vinegar with mixer until blended. Pour into unbaked pie shell. Add cococlate chips, coconut, and pecans. Bake for 50 minutes to 1 hour.
  • Yield: 8 servings

    this is my favorite pie. I created this recipe for our restaurant and it has been featured in Mississippi Magazine and on WLBT in Jackson Mississippi.Thanks for loving it and submitting it. It took ten years before we would publish the recipe. I still crave it.

    Pie in the oven right now--I would add the coconut, chocolate chips and pecans BEFORE dumping into pie shell.
