Push Cart Onion Sauce for Hot Dogs

Onion should be my middle name....This is great on Hot Dogs
Ingredients
- 2 onions, sliced 1/4-inch thick shopping list
- 2 tbls. olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup ketchup shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. cinnamon shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. chili powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. hot sauce (I use Franks) shopping list
- 1/8 tsp. salt shopping list
- 1 cup water shopping list
How to make it
- Saute onions in olive oil until tender and turning golden brown
- Mix in ketchup
- Stir and add remaining ingredients
- Bring to boil
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered until looks like most of liquid has reduced, about 10 minutes
