Ingredients
  • 3 racks pork baby back ribs (or more)
  • Spice rub (I like McCormick's Cinnamon Chipotle Pork rub, but have used my own also)
  • French's mustard (yes, it must be French's)
  • Liquid Smoke (mixed with water in spray bottle)
  • Barbeque sauce (your choice)

Directions
  1. Remove membrane from back of ribs
  2. Cut in half each slab
  3. Squirt mustard on top (meaty side) of each rib
  4. Rub in and sprinkle generously with spice rub of your choice
  5. Spray with Liquid Smoke and water mixture
  6. Cover with plastic wrap and set in fridge anywhere from 2 - 24 hours
  7. Remove from fridge at least 40 minutes before grilling time to let them become room temp
  8. Preheat grill to 325 - 350
  9. Place ribs on indirect heat meaty side up (away from flame /coals, if not using gas grill)
  10. Close lid and maintain heat around 325/350 for about 1 - 2 hours depending on size of ribs and amount
  11. Brush with bbq sauce halfway through cooking time (don't turn over)
  12. Ribs are done when picked up by tongs and they are limber (bend easily)
  13. Let rest on board for about 3 minutes before slicing into individual ribs
  14. ENJOY!

What and the hell? No can of mushroom soup? LOL! You should email me the ingredients on that McCormack spice you use. Do you ever use wood chips instead of liquid smoke? I've tried a few times but my grilling Isn't all that great :(

We LOVE the cinnamon chipotle rub. I use it on everything. Never thought to use the liquid smoke with water as a "mister" Great!
