How to make it

  • Beat the cream cheese and butter until light, about 2 min.
  • Add the cocoa, vanilla, and powdered sugar. Beat slowly until the cocoa and sugar won't fly out of the bowl, scraping the bowl as you go, then beat on med for two min.
  • Add the zest and continue beating for 1 more min. If the frosting is too thick to spread add orange juice a teaspoon at a time until you reach a good spreading consistency.
  • Frost and enjoy.
