Peanut butter chocolate chips cheesecake

- 2 cups chocolate wafer crumbs shopping list
- 1 cup butter, melted shopping list
- Method: shopping list
- Grease a 22cm spring form pan. Mix crumbs with melted butter. Press evenly onto the base and two thirds up the sides of the pan. Refrigerate while preparing the filling shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- 13 oz cream cheese, at room temperature. shopping list
- 1 cup castor sugar shopping list
- 1 cup creamy or chunky peanut butter, I used the chunky one. shopping list
- 5 large eggs shopping list
- ½ cup sour cream shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla shopping list
- 1 cup chocolate chips shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 320F. Beat cream cheese and sugar until light and fluffy. Add peanut butter and mix well. Beat in eggs one at a time, add sour cream, lemon juice and half of the chocolate chips and mix well. Pour into the prepared crust.
- Place the spring form pan on a baking sheet and bake for 55 to 65 minutes until the sides are firm. Halfway through, sprinkle the cheesecakes with the remaining chocolate chips and resume baking. When the cheesecake is set, turn the oven off, open the door and leave to cool completely.
- To decorate just sift cocoa powder over the top or use the normal chocolate glaze.
