Creme De Menthe

Why buy it if you can make it yourself?
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 tsp. peppermint extract shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups vodka shopping list
- 2 cups sugar shopping list
- 2/3 cup water shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. green food color if you want green creme de menthe shopping list
How to make it
- Bring sugar and water to boil to dissolve sugar
- Let cool
- Add vodka and peppermint extract (and food color, if making green)
- Mix well
- Store in airtight container
