Copycat Churchs Fried Chicken

- 1 Tbsp. sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups self rising flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup cornstarch shopping list
- 1/2 cup Bisquick shopping list
- 3 tsp. seasoned salt shopping list
- 2 tsp. paprika shopping list
- 1/2 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 1 envelope Italian salad dressing mix shopping list
- 1 envelope onion soup mix shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- 12 pieces chicken thigh and leg parts shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- 3 eggs, mixed well shopping list
- 1/4 cup cold water shopping list
- ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ shopping list
- 3 cups corn oil, for frying shopping list
How to make it
- Combine first set of ingredients in a 4-cup bowl. Mix to blend the ingredients thoroughly.
- Dip the chhicken in the egg mixture then into the dry coating mix and repeat so each piece is double coated.
- Preheat oil in a heavy skillet. Brown pieces skin side down for 10 minutes. Covered; using medium-high heat. Turn and brown other side, uncovered, for 10 minutes more
