Golden Peanut Butter Bars Recipe

Adapted from the Eagle Brand website. Ya'll know how much I love peanut butter so I was excited to see this one!

Ingredients
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/2 cup ( 1 stick ) cold butter or margarine
- 1 cup chopped peanuts
- 1 ( 14 oz can) sweetened condensed milk (NOT evaporated milk)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter....YEAH!!!
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
- Combine flour, brown sugar and egg; cut in butter until crumbly.
- Stir in peanuts. Reserving 2 cups crumb mixture. press remaining mixture on bottom of 13 x 9 inch baking pan.
- Bake 15 minutes or until lightly browned.
- In large bowl, with mixer, beat sweetened condensed milk with peanut butter and vanilla.
- Spread over prepared crust; top with reserved crumb mixture
- Bake 25 minutes or longer or until lightly browned.
- Cool. Cut into bars.
- If there are any leftovers....... HA, yeah right!!...store covered at room temperature. Enjoy!
